2009 Mobile World Congress Numbers

The Mobile World Congress is over and GSMA broadcast this year’s numbers. Without farther ado, here they come:

• More than 47,000 tourists from 189 nations came to the 2009 GSMA MobileWorld Congress.
• 50% of all the attendees contain C-level places, encompassing more than 2,800 CEOs.
• 1,300 businesses displayed at the happening, occupying more than 57,000 rectangle metres of public displaying and hospitality space — a footprint 11% bigger than that of the preceding year.
• Nearly 2,400 worldwide publish, world broad web and announced newspapers came to the event.
