Sony Ericsson Idou 12.1 megapixel Camera Mobile

It's good news for who loves Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Having 8MP camera phone in your pocket is not enough. Now the day come at the Mobile World Sony Ericsson launched a 12.1 megapixel(MP) camera mobile phone codenamed Idou which is a smartphone having high end camera features and is based on Symbian OS.


Idou encapsulates the future of mobile entertainment in the palm of your hand consigning visual connection like not ever before.

12.1 MP camera having features:

  • Auto Focus
  • Geo Tagging
  • Face Detection
  • Smile Detection
  • advanced camera touch features
Also it has a 3.5 inch TFT Touchscreen with 360 x 640 pixels supporting 16 million colors amd 16:9 widescreen format support. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0. FM Radio along with GPS with A-GPS support are also present. The Media Menu is now fully optimized to support the 16:9 format and will enable you to play your favorite music, movies etc. You can extend the phone memory by using microSD cards.

The Sony Ericsson Idou will be accessible in the second half of 2009, but under a distinct name. Specific local accessibility information has not yet been released.
